Basketball speed training relies on two main factors.

The first is lower body training, which gives you the ability to sprint. Sprinting isn’t the only thing, though, since you’re going to need endurance to be able to perform at your best when your team is behind and the game is dragging on.

The other key to victory is explosive movement. That’s the ability to move suddenly, yet precisely.

This is literally a “parachute” that attaches to your lower body and opens as you run, giving you more resistance and encouraging you to push. Use cones instead of hurdles to combine the speed chute with zigzag movement.
